Syracuse man arrested after threatening partner with gun, barricading himself in home

Syracuse, N.Y. — A man was arrested Monday evening after threatening his partner with a gun and barricading himself inside a Syracuse home for nearly four hours, police said.
A 24-year-old woman told officers that the man, Kendell Johns, 36, had threatened her with a gun during a dispute, according to a news release from the Syracuse Police Department.
The dispute was reported at about 2:25 p.m. at a home in the 1000 block of 1st North Street on Syracuse’s North Side.
